Community of Park Shore
Park Shore is a spectacular beachside community with white sandy beaches, a private boardwalk and an upscale shopping and dining area called Venetian Village.
Centrally located in Naples, Park Shore consists of 760 acres along more than a mile of the Gulf of Mexico purchased by Raymond Lutgert in 1964, with construction starting in 1970 by the Lutgert Company.
Some of the best Naples waterfront property is located in Park Shore which consists of a beachfront and an inland section separated by the Venetian Bay, providing boaters with access to the Gulf of Mexico. High-rise condominiums line the beachfront encircled by beautiful community parks, open garden spaces and a meandering walkway on the west side of Gulf Shore Boulevard.
The first condominium, The Horizon, was built in 1972 and the newest, The Aria, was completed in 2006. The past several years the older buildings have been refurbished.
Along the west side of Venetian Bay are low- rise (1-3 floors), mid-rise (4-7 floors) condos and villas with boat slips located in their backyard. Boat slips are either deeded with the residence, leased or available for purchase. The Venetian Villas, with Mediterranean-style architecture, are actually built over the water. The townhomes and mid-rise apartments surrounding Venetian Village, a collection of 60 shops, galleries and restaurants, offer a very unique way of life. On the inland side of Venetian Bay are single family residences, low and mid-rise apartments.
The Waterside Shops, an elegant, picturesque, awarding winning mall, offering superb shopping and dining, along with the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts, which hosts performances by national and international celebrities from Mikhail Baryshnikov to Tony Bennett, are located at the north edge of Park Shore.
Old Naples, offering a variety of boutiques, fine dining, outside cafes and art galleries, is just to the south. And to the east is the Neapolitan Shopping Center with a grocery and drug store, restaurants and specialty shops.
Whether it’s modest or luxurious, old or new, you’ll find it in The Park Shore Community.
